Skids are small, squid-like creatures, coloured in shades of blue and yellow. The skid is a normal adoptable.
The beta skid is a small, bright blue and yellow invertebrate with semi-transparent fins around the mantle, and large, circular eyes that are a red in colour. The natural omega form greatly resembles a more mature beta form. The vital form is similar to the natural, though its colouration is lighter. The tainted form more closely resembles a squid, and is darker in its colouration. All three omega forms have eyes that are a dull shade of red in colour.
